No rider leaves the sector they know blind. Parcels change hands at hub counters, signed both sides, in under two minutes. The parcel crosses the city; the riders never do.
Manifests close. Whatever the day could not finish becomes ours.
Eight hubs open their gates. Nine riders sign the board. The map goes amber.
First job out of Chow Kit. Faridah reads the address once and routes it in her head faster than the software. The software has stopped being offended.
The quiet hour. The board breathes. Somebody always orders laksa, and it is always Kumar.
We hand the city back to the day shift — receipts stapled, tanks full, nothing missing.

The founder's desk. Loudest board in the city; she runs it like a wet-market auction and never loses the thread.
The exchange. Half of everything crosses her counter before 02:00, and she signs each one like it owes her money.
Knows every alley the map apps refuse to believe exists. Riders arrive lost and leave with better routes.
Station-adjacent. Signs cold-chain with a thermometer, not a guess. Her fridge log has never been wrong.
Hill routes, long gears. Keeps spare rain gear in every size and has given all of it away twice.
Rail-side dock. If it fits a freight lift, Ganesh has already weighed it by eye and been right to the kilo.
Hill condos, sleepy guardhouses. Daniel knows which gates open for a wave and which want the full ceremony.
The long east. Two ring roads, one shortcut he will not publish, and a kettle that has not cooled since 2019.

If it must cross the city before sunrise — samples, servers, court papers, the cake — it is ours. Cold chain signed with a thermometer. Proof at both ends of every handoff.
